2 Kings 3

     "If One Will Seek Me"

Jehoram was the king now, and he did not worship Baal, yet he wrought evil in the sight of the LORD; Nevertheless he cleaved unto sin. Is there sin remaining in your life? Did you stop searching yourself daily, to honor God? One king sought the Word of the Lord. Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah ,did seek the Lord in this time of trouble. If not for him, the prophet Elisha, would not have helped them. Simply put, we don't deserve God's help in our troubles. Often times we brought these things on ourselves because we didn't seek the Lord in ALL of our ways. He will still listen. He will still bring us out of the situation. He wants to reveal Himself to us. His mighty hand... His hand of mercy. Such wonderful love!

We have a great victory to receive. It has always been a matter of choice. Will we seek God? Will we discontinue in willful and deliberate sin? Is there something in your life that you know is wrong, yet you feel powerless to overcome? I know there is in my life... how about you? The Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way. Dig ditches in the barren land. Neither rain nor wind will fill them. Make ready your vessel to receive. Play your harp, beat your drums, or simply sing. He desires to abide in the praises of His people. He will fill your ditches with Living Water. You will not thirst. You will not parish. You will receive a victory that you did not deserve. God will deliver you. He is forgiving. Let His glory shine in your life.
