Deuteronomy 18

Because the priests and the Levites are not assigned any part in the inheritance, it stands to reason that what is required of them is to live by faith; by the direct abundance of the increase provided by God's own hand, through the willingness and generosity, in addition to the required provisions of the People, unto the priests and the Levites, as the appointed ministers of the Almighty God.

God is specific about the kind of animal that shall be offered up to Him, and He is specific about how we are to prepare our sacrifices unto Him. This will put into practice our obedience to God, and so that we will, with skill, observe to do His exact bidding.

There are many different gods, and ways to worship those gods in and among the surrounding heathen nations. Moses, by instruction of God, detailed many of their practices and specifically forbade the People from doing those things that the heathens do, nor that we take any heed of their molten images.

At Mount Horeb, after many times coming under the wrath of God, the children of Israel inquired of God that they be separate from Him lest they shall surely die. God did not get angry because of this request. In fact, He commended them and acknowledged that it was a good thing that they request. God set rulers and priests and judges over them to try them in their crimes. This begins the establishment of the Law of God, also referred to as the Law of Moses. No matter what name is given, the bottom line is that we follow diligently that which God instructs us, both as a member of a body and as an individual, that His glory may be known abroad, through our obedience, that the people might say, Surely they are of a Godly assembly, for they bear evidence of His mighty hand.

When we dont do that which God has instructed us, that the world may know that He is, then through His divine justice He will make His name known throughout the world, so that the people might say, Surely this is a just God, that He bid fairly and sternly with His own.

If anyone speaks in the name of God, to assume a divine calling to do that which he has not been instructed, if he presumes to act or speak in the instruction of the Lord when he is not, then he shall be found out. He will be found to be true or false by the fruit that he bears. The result will determine if that which he speaks is of God or not. If he has spoken presumptuously, and not by instruction of God, then he shall be put to death.

No fear is healthy, except for the fear of the Lord, or the reverent awe for the Almighty. Fear thou not for the speaker of vain words or the words of the deceiver. Fear no evil thing, for no thing can come upon you except by express, specific permission of God. Should God allow the messager of Satan to buffet you, remember well that God will always provide a plan of escape. Again, we must fully render to His exact instruction, that all will know the blessing of God, and not His wrath. Save that for someone else. Lets aim to be examples of the goodness and blessings of God.
