Joshua 10
This chapter shows us that nothing is impossible for God. We also learn that God will fight for us and He will empower us to overcome great odds when we serve Him and walk in His will.
This is a time of much labor for the Israelites. They completed a great journey from Egypt, overcoming impossible situations at the Hand of God and for as long as they obeyed the commands of God they knew no defeat.
It is important for us to understand that God is the same today, even though the situations are different and even though His methods are not as they were. No matter how great or small the situation is, if we focus on God to do His will, we will certainly see His hand as He delivers us from all that comes against us.
Understand also that we don't always have our sights set fully on God's will for us and that we do need to re-focus so that He is the entire focus. Remember always that if we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all these things will be added unto us.
Just like the days of Joshua, God wants to give to us great wealth, even wealth that we did not put our hand to accomplish. God gave the land of Canaan to His People a very long time before they came to possess it. All the while, the ungodly people were building it up for us to possess as a great wealth.
Great wealth is not always land or possessions, but it is always that which brings glory to God and provision to His People. The only thing we need to do in order to acquire God's mighty blessings is to accept Him as our One and only Lord.
Accept Jesus now and be a part of Gods grace and mercy. Nothing can overcome us if we believe and obey.
