jDeuteronomy 29
God has made it completely clear all that He commands of us in our walk with Him. This could be unto us a walk, or a journey, or even a wandering. It is entirely our choice to make, as we purpose in our hearts to either come fully under the guidance of the Holy God of Israel, or if we shall as of the rest of the world, full of heathen nations, to be made examples of, to be smitten completely from off the face of the earth, all for a parcel of land. Understand this, God made His strength know by following through with all that He had said. If we do the same; if we would follow through with what we say, we will make our name known throughout the land.
If we would live for God, and also follow through with all that we say, when our name is become known everywhere, they will know that it is not I, but the Lord in me that has brought me to greatness. I will overcome all opposition by means not of my own, but by the strength of the Lord in me. Stamina and endurance are all that are required of me after I have committed to the will of God. He does all of the things that I or anyone else could ever do, and He don't stop there. God provides victory and then He equips His people so that they may benefit the most from that which they have received.
If I want to give you a car, there comes with that free gift a package full of responsibilities. First, and most important, do you have a driver license? If I am going to give you the car, I would also help you receive your driver license. Then, if you don't have room in your budget for insurance and vehicle maintenance, then I would also help you with your budget, or maybe provide resources for aide in finances. Perhaps you could do some private work doing what you do all week, for local people on the weekends or evenings.
All of this would be subject to your desire for the car, and what effort you are willing to exert in order to receive the car. Not even God will magically put a driver license in your wallet. He is concerned for your safety, so He wants you to learn how to drive. If your license is under penalty, He wants to deliver you from that bondage. Thus begins the walk, journey, or wandering. It comes back to choices that only you can make for you. When you become a Christian, you begin to receive from God all good things, because He won't hold any good thing from you. The ability to receive these things is based upon your conditions in life and what must be done. Driver licenses, houses, spouses and children... every gain that is worth having comes with responsibilities.
If we let God help us, we will grow in Christ. This will bring glory to God. The more glory we bring to God by our Godly living, the more He will provide supernatural experiences for those who see might believe. He is doing it now, in the lives of so many, but we don't see it. Today we have "science" to explain most things, so that God is not glorified in it at all. People today seem set on distancing themselves from responsible, Godly living. They think that is freedom to be separate from God. When all along, their lives depend on the corruptible things of earth, and they have little room to move around now, lest they be unplugged from their "life support system".
God has a plan, a way of life that will always bring boundless blessings, and responsibilities, yes, and endless victory over every manner of opposition. He always proved it, every single time. Are you ready for Him to prove it in your life?
