Notes:

  • A baby has to grow and mature

  • God didn't just call pastors, etc... He has called all of us

  • Accountability applies to what you have done AND what you haven't done

  • No compromise

  • We are no more immature, like children

  • He makes the whole body fit together perfectly

  • “I am perfectly in place in the body of Christ”

  • As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow

  • “Keeping my thoughts under control” (Philippians 4:8)

  • If somebody don't like something, that you done or something about who you are... they don't have to... it's okay

  • Yesterday's issue was clarified just now... Don't think about that which is impure, or of ill report, etc.

  • I should not let anyone or anything frustrate me

  • I can do something about being frustrated

  • God don't intend that we have any frustration in any area of my life, nor in any single instance

  • This was good, that was good, and all of a sudden.... NO, NOT all of a sudden... Whatever happened was over a period of time. Little, seemingly unnoticed things led to and built up this “all of a sudden” condition, or situation

  • We need to develop our spiritual awareness

  • Job 37:14 – Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God

  • Psalm 46:10 - Be still and know that I am God

  • Hebrews 6:12 – Be not slothful... not just slow, but also sloppy – but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

  • Faith comes by hearing the Word. If I am distracted, HEAR more Word

  • No longer say, “what are you going to do”... it used to be something I said often, during circumstances when results were not as expected

  • He knows what I have need of even before I ask about it

  • We call those things that be not, as though they were

  • Sometimes I feel all alone... I am NOT alone at any time

  • my spirit never sleeps

  • If I am easily distracted, my prayer time and study time will suffer

  • In all my ways acknowledge Him.. He will direct my path – THAT'S what I'm gonna do

  • thank you, Lord of growing me up quickly

  • Proverbs 28:20 – a faithful man shall abound with blessings

  • Acknowledge the “checkpoints” - “reset the compass” - read the word, it is the checkpoint and the compass

  • Deal with the issues in love... speak the truth

  • If I yield to the flesh, I will miss out on the blessing

  • Ephesians 4:15 – speak the truth in love – I will grow Spiritually in Christ

  • I need to be able to concentrate and focus

  • Exercise discipline over my flesh

  • I need to pray on my knees. I cannot pray laying down or standing up, not even sitting... I must pray ON MY KNEES

  • Speaking is attached to my spirit – it is much more than talk – it effects every aspect of my life – it effects what I do

  • The flesh is a follower, the spirit leads

  • The flesh isn't meant to lead

  • There is a real battle between the flesh and the spirit

  • Matthew 8:5 – Speak the word only, and the miracle will occur

  • When we make Jesus marvel, we have got something going on!

  • When we submit to God's authority, and the authority of His word, we will understand on a greater level the authority of truth when spoken from our mouth

  • We are like Jesus

  • We are under development, spiritually
