POI:

  • babies act like babies and we grow out of that to become men of God
  • children can be easily deceived because they don't have a lot of experience

The illustration of the bike stuck reminded me of the day I overreacted when the forklift wouldn't start.

Sometimes we need mistakes so that we can hear from God and see what's the real problem

  • when we grow, we notice just how much we didn't know before
  • Some people are so ignorant that they don't think they are ignorant
  • some people just don't know better – they need the truth... given in love
  • pray, no matter what and believe the best for them
  • Jesus, our ultimate example
  • we are impressionable people, imitators of others. Don't imitate people because we set our sights too low that way. Every person has a flaw.
  • “I'm keeping my eyes on Jesus” The whole world benefits from it
  • The whole kingdom of God is of a man sowing a seed
  • People benefit when I act like Christ, the world is changed
  • We're imitators of Christ
  • God has made every person unique, gifts, talent, and abilities – can reach in a unique way
  • I am a masterpiece – I was created by the master
  • God can restore me better than I was before, just as a car can be because there are more and better resources now
  • Perfect means complete (Phil 1:6)
  • continue to confess, read, speak and do because it is developing me – practical application
  • The enemy tries to devalue our life
  • The enemy thought he won and realized that he lost
  • I'm valuable
  • God didn't over pay – The value is determined by what the purchaser is willing to pay
  • Appreciate my value and the value of all others
  • If I really were so worthless, why did God pay so much for me?
  • I live my life as a valuable person for God
  • If I am not here, who would be affected if I didn't exist?
If you don't like what people are doing, get involved and do it

  • Teachers are people, too
  • Everyone needs prayer, leaders and followers alike
  • Words are important and valuable to people
What I got out of the message:
  • Not only do I need to try harder to keep up with my commitments, but I need to also improve my attitude and value of it (church maintenance, imageMEDIA work quality, etc.)
  • I need a stronger commitment
  • Clearer focus
  • Stronger sense of priority
