The Plan of Salvation is a very important message. If a person cannot get past this message, and apply it to his heart, he cannot see what kind of life he will have, and he cannot see the power of God at work. He is blind, mind you. So, what's to this Plan, that I should adhere to it? What benefit can I experience, due to the application of the Plan of Salvation? My question to this type of question is, "what experience can I benefit from, due to the application of the Plan of Salvation?" Do you see the difference? The truth is, the experiences that we face in life will not entirely change, per say, but rather how we benefit from these experiences will be the deciding factor.

I can't show you what it is like to be a Christian. I can only share with you my experiences, strengths and my hope. You can be an exact replica of myself, in all ways... just like me. Even then, you will not benefit the same as I will. The reason is because even a replica of myself will not see or do what I see and do. If you are not exactly where I am at the time, and if you have not become exactly as I am, due to all of my memories and benefits of those, if you are not ME, then I cannot tell you EXACTLY what it is like to be a Christian.

How do I sell you on the fact that the Plan of Salvation is by far greater than any other offer? Prophecy is definately an effective gift. If I come up to you and tell you to do such and such, at such and such time, exactly like this... and such and such will come to pass. If you do that, and exactly so, and the result is exactly as pronounced, then you are going to be more likely to believe, because you now have an experience by which you may refer.

If this scenerio were to actually occur (and I am sure it has, many times over), it can be lined up with scripture in many subjects of study. Faith comes by hearing...; Faith, without works...; Without faith...; etc. These examples go on and on. The point is, get into the Word of God and understand it. After you understand, even just a little bit, then apply that little bit to your life. Write about your new benefits of your experiences. Look back on these writings. You will see a glimpse of the Living Word of God. No man can build a temple for God. We are the temple. To build a place so grand that only a king could receive, the King, Jesus... we need only to receive God's Word and apply it. Our temple will then be a place that no other place in the plane of existance as we know it will ever be good enough for God. God desires to dwell in us more than among us or with us.

Healing is another very effective gift. Jesus used all of the gifts so that people would believe and, "go and sin no more". These gifts are good for bringing glory to God. They "lift Him up from the earth to draw all men unto Him". Prophecy, healing, and all of the other gifts require an action by the receiving party. If we take this and do it exactly, we will receive the exact result that is described.
