Father, I don't know what this thing is that is going on within me. My emotions are heightened, and my responses are unusual, or at least exaggerated. I know that I will get through this, and I'd like to understand it at some point, even if it becomes clear only after it has passed.

To me, it is important to understand a thing well, so that I can share with a person that is going through a situation similar to mine. At this point, Lord, I don't even know what I am going through, but I will lo...

Prayer to God

How far have I wandered from You, O Lord? Where have I lost my way? The deep things are so far from me and the simple does confuse me. My thoughts are “woe, me” and I am les in thought of You.

O Lord, how I know the delight I have when I am in awe of You. My thoughts were of You or of that which pertains to You all the day long and I have known joy because of it. How do I come back, O Lord? What must I do to be saved? How can ...

Prayer To God

Heavenly Father:

More than a storybook hero or an imaginary friend let not Your name be mocked. Show forth Your mercy and loving kindness, but also withhold NOT Your justly balanced sovereignty. Be never far from me as I walk in Your way.

In my walk, I pray Thee; order my steps in Your word. Shine Your light on me and through me to fully expose my shortcomings. Let my heart be ever ready to yield to Your divine will and keep me washe...

Prayer to God

O Lord:

Search me, O Lord. Let me be ever mindful of my heart, that I may search it daily. Let me now drift far from You, gradually, as a result of subtle sin and compromise. Remind me by tugging my heart when my words fall short of life and inspiration to others.

Help me, O Lord. Help me to seek You in all things, to raise my personal standards as acceptable in Your kingdom. Let my behaviors be accepta...

Prayer to God

Change my heart, O God. Lower me to a base state that You can be exalted. Work with me and through me. Kindle Your fire hot, O Lord and skim off from me the dross of all impurity. Don’t forget me in Your fire that I be not utterly cast off forever.

I am Thine O Lord. Polish me as a gem of priceless worth. Though I am but a small chunk from off the face of the earth, Thou hast carved me and put a shine u...

Prayer to God

Almighty God:

Only 3 hours after You have dealt with me about humility I done all the way opposite of what I ought to have done. I let bitterness enter my heart. I let impatience enter my heart. I let hatred and strive rule my thoughts and my words and my behaviors. I engaged in a fight against the very ones I am trying to be Your servant for.

O God, what am I to do? What shall I say then? Am I transformi...

Posted by G. Neil on Thursday, December 31, 2009, In : Prayer
My husband is ill.  He is 79, has COPD and congestive heart failure. Monday, he went to the doctor for a cold. He is on antibiotics, but he is not getting better, and it sounds like he has pneumonia. Please pray for him. He is going back to the doctor this morning and there is a possibility that they may admit him to the hospital.

I ask for your prayers.
Thanks.

Prayer to God

I will keep my hands to myself today, O God. I will keep my words life-breathed, as a spoken example of You in my life. I will meditate upon faith, hope and charity as taught in 1 Corinthians 13:13. It is very important that my EVERY thught is clean and acceptable in You sight – and You do see ALL.

My thoughts will guide my behaviors. I must think on things that are true, things that are honest, things that are just, things th...

Prayer to God

Almighty God, who is greater than You, that I should fear any man or beast? Or, who could overcome me that You could not utterly cast down? Unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul, O my God, I trust in The: let me not be ashamed, let my mine enemies triumph over me.

Restrain me O Lord, that I recompense to no man evil for evil; and that I be not overcome of evil. Let me overcome evil with good. Help me to find it within me to live peaceab...

O Lord:

I pray for my sister, Missy. When I confessed my sin, I was then set free of my bondage of sin, and cleansed of all it’s unrighteous effects upon my life.

Shortly after, my sister’s heart was sorely troubled. My portion fell to hear and overcame her because of the sin that she has not repented from. It seemed to har as too much for her to bear. She made effort to relieve her anguish without the shedding of Your b...

Prayer For Matae

By G. Neil Armstrong

Dear D.O.C.s Family:
Matae asked TrueGrace01 to pray about the situation described below. It is my experience that for a person to pray about something, that person ought to know as much about the thing as possible. It is common, and likely that when a person brings something before God, it is that person who God will use, even in a small way, to bring the answer to the prayer to pass.
I provided links to some very important points ...

Dear Heavenly Father:
I pray now in Jesus' name, asking You to forgive my sin. It's not enough for me to simply be forgiven, although there is freedom in forgiveness, and whoever You set free is free indeed. It is my desire that I improve in my walk, and not to simply approach You with a request of forgiveness. Forgiveness is not to be taken lightly, I know, but I need deliverance. I need a repentant heart. Does this have any reflection on my belief in You? What I mean to ask is, does it m...

December Fifteenth 2009 - by G Neil Armstrong

Posted by G. Neil on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, In : Prayer
Father, I pray in Jesus' name. Please clean me from sin. I have not walked in a way that is pleasing to You. I have come short of it. Please forgive me and help me to want to do better. We have so many people who need one another to help with issues of life that I don't want to waste time being "less than" what You would have for my life. It's important for me to stay close to You, Lord. I don't like fear at all, and when I am not in Your good grace all I do is fear. I am afraid of this great...
