Prayer to God

I will keep my hands to myself today, O God. I will keep my words life-breathed, as a spoken example of You in my life. I will meditate upon faith, hope and charity as taught in 1 Corinthians 13:13. It is very important that my EVERY thught is clean and acceptable in You sight – and You do see ALL.

My thoughts will guide my behaviors. I must think on things that are true, things that are honest, things that are just, things that are pure, things that are lovely, and things that are of a good report. If there is any birtue and praise in my heart, and if I do think on these things as You taught me in Philippians 4:8, then will the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord. You are my strength, and my redeemer.

I must NOT pay ANY attention to the filthy and perverse language and behavior of the lost and sinful ones. I must not allow resentment to set in my heart when the wickedness revels on deep into the night. The terrible and corrupt noise of the darkened hearts do not see the unsavory discust of their ways. They seem to delight in it when it’s this very thing that destroys peace, unity and harmony in and among us. Fellowship is far from us if there is no peace. Settle me under Your wing, Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.
