No ONE HAS REQUESTED PRAYERS, SO WE CAN REMEMBER EACH OTHER AND OUR LOVES ONES AND FRIENDS. 
I HAD MY 50 YEAR OLD STEPSON, WHO IS OUT OF WORK MOVE IN WITH US, HE IS A TRUCK DRIVER AND IS LOOKING BUT HAS A FEW SNAGS, HIS FATHER AND I ARE TRYING TO HELP HIM BUT IT IS EXTRA WORK FOR ME, I USEALLY DON'T COOK WHEN I FEEL BAD AND THAT OFTEN, BUT WHEN YOU HAVE SOMEONE ELSE YOU HAVE TO DO MORE. I WASHED HIS CLOTH AND SO ON, BECAUSE I DON'T WANT ANYONE MESSING WITH MY APPLIANCE'S.
 AND I HAVE TO WRAP AND BOXS UP MOST OF MY CHRISTMAS STUFF TO BE MAILED TO MICHIGAN AND MARYLAND AND FINALLY GOT THAT DONE THIS MORNING, I HAVE 4 BIG BOXES I HAVE TO GET TO THE POSTOFFICE THIS AFTERNOON, AND BAKED COOKIES THIS EVENING FOR THE GRANDSON THAT SPECIAL ED, WHO ALSO LIVES WITH ME, TO TAKE TO  SCHOOL. AND WRAP HIS 7 TEACHERS AND BUS DRIVERS GIFTS. AND THEN GET MY HOUSEHOLD READY, I SAY ALL THIS TO LET EVERYONE KNOW I WILL NOT START THE GAMES UNTIL AFTER CHRISTMAS. 
MY LEGS ARE STILL SWELLED AND I'M TRYING TO GET MY PROTEIN UP, SO THEY WILL CLEAR UP, KEEP THAT IN YOUR PRAYERS ALSO AND THAT ANDY MY STEPSON WILL GET A JOB.
 REMEMBER ELAINE, WHILE SHE GETTING MOVED AND THINGS STRAIGHTEN OUT. REMEMBER BARB HEALTH AND NEEDS ALSO. AND IF YOU NEED A SPECIAL PRAYER SAID, E-MAIL ME WITH IT PLEASE, I WILL GET THAT DONE, BECAUSE THAT COMES FIRST.

Thank You, Linda. Only one or two people have requested prayer, but I do believe that during this season there are more need for prayer than in others. I do believe that during this time, we focus a little more on others, as you are with your stepson, and less time on themselves. This is an awesome thing, but it tends to lead a person to neglect him or herself in their Spiritual well-being. I want to pray for you, Linda. Because your focus was not on "self" as much as it was on us all. I want to pray for your stepson, that God will provide him with the means to support himself and all of his own responsibilities. I will pray also that your stepson will, with his certain increase, to compensate you as he is able, and as the LORD would have you to receive.
PRAYER:
       Father, I pray in Jesus' name. I address You as "Father" because I acknowledge Your authority in my life. I call You many things under many different circumstances, many times, but this time I address You as Father. I come to You as a child of the Almighty. I come with a heart of both sadness and joy. Sadness for the struggles of my close friends and loved ones, and joy because they now have an opportunity to see Your awesome, mighty hand change their situations around, supernaturally. 
       When a person suffers enough, or often enough, their emotion is that of relief when they are eased of their suffering. When a person knows You well enough, that person may come to expect things from You. I ask that You receive me as submissive and not as expectant, or taking for granted. I still desire Your full will to be manifest in the lives of Linda and her stepson. I still fully expect Your supernatural intervention in this matter. 
       I understand something else, too, LORD. I understand that in a measure we gain, in that same measure we adopt a certain responsibility. If I have more than that which I need, it is important for me to expect You to sent someone to me, so that they can be filled where they lack. My increase is not for waste or overindulgence. My increase is solely for Your provision to OTHER people. If I become faithful with this, You will make me ruler over much. 
       This is not a thing that I actively seek for my life, even though it would be an honor to be assigned anything in Your will. What I seek today, LORD is a relief to come over Linda, even before she gets an opportunity to read this prayer. Following this relief, I ask that You touch her stepsons heart and move him with compassion. Give him insight and the right spirit to bless Linda, and to not even accidentally get in each others way. Bless this man with opportunities that are well within his skills and abilities and willingness. 
       I want to go back to Linda, now LORD. I want You to peer into her heart and see what You will see. I ask that You reach out and gently touch her with only the tip of Your finger. All of the things in her life could be left unchanged, if You would only touch her heart with the tip of Your finger. These things would take on a new meaning for Linda. Perhaps she'd see an opportunity instead of a liability. I don't know how You will work it out with her, Jesus. I just know that You will bring forth the greater good. You'd have done it for her, anyway. With this prayer, help her to identify her blessing and to see You in these times, not just in general, but specifically and in each situation. Comfort her with the knowledge that You are there and ready to do for her what she can't do for herself. Help her to overcome those things which threaten to overcome her. I pray in Jesus' name, amen.

       Linda, this time it's YOU who will receive. I don't know what God will give You. I don't even know exactly what your needs are. God does. He knows even better than you do. What I want to say is, God is dynamic, as you well know. His provision comes in some of the most unorthodox ways. For example, the People of Israel, coming out of Egypt had no way of knowing that their provision for food would come from the sky, perhaps very similar to snow. 
       I wonder what it taste like? My curiosity would probably really like the nature of the thing. I mean, "manna from heaven" has got to come with a certain "status quo." I'd probably lift my head up a fraction of an inch and inhale slowly. Maybe I'd be so awed by it that I'd want to save some for the next day, as many of the People had done. Even today, I want to save some of my blessings to carry me over for the next day. 
       I think that this sort of behavior is understandable, but God wants to bless us fresh daily. I think He'd rather see us give our extra manna away to the ones who didn't gather enough. I think He'd rather bless us with fresh "snow showers" of blessings on the morrow, and that we don't have to use "day old" blessings. 
       Linda, I believe that God chose to bless the People and feed them this way so that we, 4,000 years later can have a reminder that He does still "shower" our provisions around us fresh daily, and that sometimes we set all that aside because we'd rather have fish and quail, and all of the other things that we are accustomed to. His blessings come in ways and in forms that are not common to man. I believe that this is because it carries His special identification with it. He will not share the credit. He will require that we acknowledge Him in His blessing of provision. 
       I know He wants what's best for you, and that He has already come to the rescue. Perhaps it's not such a big deal, and that you don't mind helping people when you can. This is certainly the way that God would have it. I know that you want to help this guy. I know how apprehensive it is to open your home up to someone, especially if they aren't as dear to you as are others in your life. 
       I believe that in doing so, God is smiling on you and ready to fill your cup to overflowing. Now Linda, your plate is already full, so God will make your cup overflow. Let this overflowing serve those whose cups are half empty.
