Face Time

Today I spent my Face Time in Romans 6. I really think that if we read this chapter a bit slower we will see that when we are born again, we don't do the things we used to do, the way we used to do them. We are new creatures, with new perspectives. We even perceive things far differently than we had before. It's important to remember that just because we can do something it doesn't always meant we should do it. Paul said, what profit it to me? I have all power of heaven and earth, I can do all things, I can I can I can. BUT, there a time to say, I WON"T and I DON"T. Not because I no longer want to... many times we still want to. That's the whole point of Romans 6. We are not going to do the things the flesh wants us to do any longer. Instead, when we get the urge, we will do something specific for the Lord, and we will NOT spin it so that it gratifies the flesh after all.
We will put aside our flesh desires and develop spiritual habits that fulfill spiritual desires. The flesh will fade as the spirit increases. I hope the following study edifies you and inspires you anew. Please add your own comments or questions below. I would be very happy to break bread with you, in Jesus' name.
