The Seventy-Third Psalm
Asaph’s Song
By G. Neil Armstrong
Bridge:
Nevertheless I am continually (with Thee)
Thou hast holden me by my right hand (so that I can)
Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel (vv 23-24)
And afterward receive me to Glory
Verse 1:
So long I wandered in the wilderness (v 9)
(in my distress) because of all that I did transgress
I knew better but I still did it (v 13)
(in my foolishness) so I wandered in my ignorance (v 9)
Bridge:
Nevertheless I am continually (with Thee)
Thou hast holden me by my right hand (so that I can)
Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel (vv 23-24)
And afterward receive me to Glory
Verse 2:
Whom have I in heaven but Thee (v 25)
(to set me free) I suffered sore in my calamity (v 18)
my desire on the earth is only of Thee (v 25)
(in all Your Glory) and in you I find all my sanctity (v 17)
Bridge:
Nevertheless I am continually (with Thee)
Thou hast holden me by my right hand (so that I can)
Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel (vv 23-24)
And afterward receive me to Glory
Oh my God You receive me to Glory
I thank God He receives me in Glory
