Commentary
Thank You, Jesus for offering Your life to preserve mine. Thank You for the Orderly Arrangement. Thank You for bring abundant life to my nostrils. Let Your name be a sweet sound from my mouth, in my heart and in my walk today, oh God. Thank You for giving me a willing heart, for creating in me a clean heart. Father, I just love the way David worded that prayer in the 51st Psalm, that You create in me a clean heart. This is not a restoration, as if to say that I had a clean heart and somehow lost it. Father, You have created in me a clean heart and renewed a right spirit within me. I feel complete when I feel the NEWness of the spirit of righteousness within me. I just want to DANCE before you, oh God as You sing over me. Oh what joy in YOUR presence, oh God because in YOU there is NO DARKNESS AT ALL! Hallelujah! I open up my heart to receive Your Word right now, in Jesus' name.
After the salutations, Paul began immediately by pointing our attention to those who make effort to ill will toward us. In verse 17 it says to mark those people. To mark means to look at, observe, contemplate... to mark... to fix one's eyes upon, direct one's attention to, any one... to look to, take heed to thyself. ANYone who would deliberately or inadvertently cause undesirable results, we will pay special attention to. Let them NOT deceive me in my heart. I will beware of them, and I will offer words of life, in my mouth and in my walk. Make my wisdom be not of my own, but to be "God only wise". I thank You, Lord for protecting me from following after foolish wisdom, and that I be led only by Your Spirit. I go forward today with my eyes wide open to see the saved and the lost, directly to the condition of each one's hearts. I will serve the needs of each, with the tools You have given to me. Your Word is developing in me, even from my very early youth, and not one jot has departed from me, nor ever will. Hallelujah, Jesus!
