Champion of Challenge
Psalm 27:1-14
Fear is often sudden and unexpected. My response should NOT be retreat. Instead, I must face it, examine it and defeat it. Simply require myself to rejoice in victory. Simply defeat it with knowing victory.

Sometimes I remember past times of victory, being encouraged that I will with the challenge.. I need only thank God for it. Reward: Dwell in the safety and comfort of God's presence. I don't want to escape the challenge. Instead, I want to overcome it. Take a chance... try trusting God... Give praise for the victory that hasn't yet manifest. It's not a problem. It is an opportunity. Trust. Praise. Thank = Victory. This is the result, every single time!

Rigt in the middle of a challenge, I'm facing a giant circumstance and I don't see past it. I have an opportunity to exercise trust, remembering that God has promised victory. What I can't see, because of the giant thing, is the even greater outcome. Don't fall down - just go around. Don't give in - I will win. Don't be afraid - the way is paved.

Tools of Triumph: Philippians 4:8 ...think on these things:

  • true
  • honest
  • just
  • pure
  • lovely
  • good report
  • virtue
  • praise
