jDeuteronomy 27
Cursing or being cursed is very serious business. Today a person would likely not take such a concept very seriously, but in a time when God's involvement with man was so close and so clear, a curse, and the effects of such would be immediate and a person would understand it well. It's not such a common thing now, or so it seems. The fact is, the curse is effective unto the third generation, so with sin as rampant as it is today, who can say what or who is not cursed? There are so few bloodlines left in this generation that are not bound by one curse or another, and when we think that our forbidden actions and behaviors are going unnoticed, in reality we are simply passing the curse along to the next generation. The problem is greatest now, and especially because this is our FINAL generation.
We simply don't have time for the curse to end it's course in time. We must seek God's divine pardon through Jesus' blood as an atonement for our sins, so that we will be washed clean as People of God should be. This is the sole purpose of all that we are learning in this journey. We will find more perspective and understanding of God's divine nature as we continue to be trained up for a Peculiar People, for we are a chosen generation; a royal priesthood, a holy nation. He has called us out of darkness now, and into His marvelous light. We praise Him and shine forth as we walk solidly onward.
