Overcoming evil with good cannot be done if there is any pride at all. If I am truly good and evil is truly evil, then good will overcome evil. This overcoming is not that of defeat or to utterly destroy. To overcome someone or something is to prevail; to influence or effect. To overcome is also to be able to continue onward with no defeat and to not be destroyed.

If I am good, truly good then it is not enough for me to make it safely through. A good person ought to want others to make it safely through also. For others to come through safely, they must also become good. If they were evil and had become good as a result of my influence then Romans 12:21 has become manifest.

I do understand that evil can be converted by God’s own hand and rightly so, even if I am and do remain an evil influence. So much more benefit it would be if we exercise God’s will on for another. This is how we draw closer to God.

To worship God in Spirit and in Truth is far more than a song and a dance. In fact, a song and a dance is one of the countless manifestations of true and Spiritual Worship Matthew 25:31-45 is the example of good and of evil. It is how we must truly and spiritually worship God. What we do to or for another person is want we do to or for God. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath see, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, that he who loveth God love his brother also (1 John 4:20-21).

As we can see from the greek word ad el fos, brother is literally and figurative of the womb. Brother is also near or remote. This thoroughly covers everyone both near or far; family or stranger… even those who we hate.

Love and hate are two very opposite emotions. Both exist as emotion and also as a condition of being. To love or to hate can occur with or without emotions or feelings, or passions. It is necessary to know how important it is to love all people with a fullness of passion; to feel; to be full of emotion, zeal & ferver.

To hate, in the greek word = 3404 mis – eh’ – oI; from a primary misos (hatred); to detest (espec. To persecute); by extens. To loveless; -hate (-ful).

To love and to hate is the same as to good and evil. It is a very clearly defined opposite. “…Choose you this day whom ye will serve” (Joshua 24:15).Love people or hate people. This is that which defines victory or defeat.

31        When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32        And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33        And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34        Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35        For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36        Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37        Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38        When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39        Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40        And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41        Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

43        I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44        Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45        Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
