 Break The Jail Cycle

By G. Neil Armstrong

I hope to break this jail cycle once and for all. It’s difficult to not be bitter if I think of why I am here, and then think about some of the things other people have done. It’s important that I don’t think about those things in my life or in others’ lives anymore.

I don’t want to inter-mix my life in with the life of anyone who doesn’t regard God as the only important reason for life. Any kind of focus that is not wholly on God will definitely lead me away from His will for me. I do not want that. It’s not that I’d do well to remember this, but that I’d do far better to never forget it.

I will focus on nothing else at all. Even while I am at my workplace I am going in the mindset of God first and job second, or third or fourth. Clothing, shelter, and food are regarded as man’s three essential needs for life, but I already know that none of these are essential for Life, only God is. Those other three things are the abundance of the FIRST, to live and breathe God.
